The 2nd Winter School in Imaging Science

The 2nd Winter School in Imaging Science will be held from 9-11 January 2017 at the Sonofelice (Daemyung Resort), located in the Hongcheon-gun, Gangwon Province, Korea. This winter school in Imaging Science will include tutorial programs on Deep learning and CT(main topic), special sessions (Ultrasound, Microwave, Computational Imaging), introduction of NIMS research, and other group meetings (EIT group, CFD group, NA group, A3 meeting)

Program

Topic : Current issues on X-ray computed tomography imaging

This program in the winter school is intended to give graduate students and young researchers the opportunity to get an insight into the current issues on X-ray computed tomography imaging such as low-dose CT, metal artifacts, photon counting CT and so on. This program will consist of two parts: research lectures and tutorials using MATLAB. The speakers are well-known researchers working in the field of medical imaging.
